Butterfly bags.
Why not try these adorable DIY party bags? They will look lovely filled with goodies of your choice. Add bubbles, small toys, sweets – anything you fancy. To make the bags, you will need some small white or brown gift bags with handles, wooden craft pegs, coloured butterfly printable page, patterned scrapbook paper or coloured cards for small butterflies and sheets of green card. Get as creative or keep it as simple as you like.
Lollipop butterflies.
These favours are so easy to make using a lollipop as the butterfly’s head and body then just add cardboard wings – easy.
Sweet treats.
Make your own butterfly treat bags by filling a transparent bag with colourful sweets then attach a wooden peg down the centre of the bag to make a butterfly shape, then add pipe cleaner antennae and personalise with a thank you message. We think they look amazing!
Butterfly colouring pages.
There are lots of free colouring pages available to download online. For a really easy favour, download and print out a selection of pictures and pop them into a party bag along with some chunky wax crayons. Parents will love that their little ones have a quiet activity to enjoy.
Iced cookies.
To create these butterfly-shaped cookies, roll out shop-bought or homemade dough and cut using a butterfly-shaped cookie-cutter. Bake as normal. When cooled, cover with blue or purple icing and add butterfly features using piped white icing. When dry, simply place in a gift bag and add some curled ribbon to decorate. Scrumptious!
Butterfly toy favours.
If you’re the creative type and want to impress the guests why not make these adorable baby butterflies?
Butterfly buckets.
These pretty purple bucket favours are decorated with a label saying ‘thanks for fluttering by’ then filled with tasty party treats – yummy.
Cake favour.
It’s quite a traditional idea to add some birthday cake to the party favour. But, why not break with tradition and add some butterfly cake pops instead? It’s a great alternative. Just don’t forget to add some extra for the grown-ups!
